Summary
Take a high-level version of the ‘consulting’ work I’ve done in the past, embed it into a GPT. Scale the 1:1 work I’ve done helping individuals to re-think their career, re-write their CV/Resume, re-target jobs that pay higher but are well within their existing skillset (but recruiters, hiring managers, etc weren’t able to see it).
Usefulness: Practical/Productive
Techniques
- Built a custom GPT (OpenAI’s interactive agents you pre-configure to solve a problem)
- Examine the Resume to infer what jobs this person can probably do
- Predict what measures are used to check if someone is good enough for those jobs
- Reflect that back into: highlight where the resume does / does-not fulfil this
- Creatively insert better resume sections
- Creatively suggest which jobs to apply for
- Assess expected outcome in terms of $$$ value
Discoveries
- Google hits are too generic, vague, abstract; GPT’s output is highly personalised and well-contextualised
