Summary
Create a positive feedback loop between myself and an LLM chatbot: each phase of conversation is unique, the LLM does not need the context from previous rounds - I do work offline between conversations, before feeding-forward into the next chat
Usefulness: Practical/Productive
Techniques
- NB: This is not simply ‘creating SEO blogposts’ or ‘authoring pitch emails’ – it’s a bit deeper (and I find one-on-one emails easy – for me they’re just part of Sales). I have many previous successes in: sales, engineering, design, product, ops/PM — but I always find Marketing incredibly difficult, almost impossible for me to do well (even though I’ve spent years studying it, and have multiple times coached teams and individuals to do well at it).
- Use an LLM as my ‘Assistant Marketing Manager”, correcting my mis-steps, shortcutting the areas where I traditionally burn “weeks” flailing around to achieve what could have been done in “hours” if I’d been more skilled, while using my own knowledge of the practical parts (processses, metrics, etc)
- e.g. I assemble the sales evidence and sales pitches, and ask an LLM to analyse that and reflect it back to me as marketing copy
- e.g. later, after I’ve had sales successes, I solicit customer testimonials, collate them, and ask an LLM to reflect that back at me as ‘conversation starters’ that match
